In addition to knights and castles, there appears many kinds of weapons, such as bows, catapult, swords, bombards, and so on. Knights wear the armour during war or training. Surprisingly, a well-made suit of armour was very expensive. It was like buying a new car today! Knights also use the sword. Some swords could be twice the length of a man's arm and as heavy as bicycle! The first castle were built in the 900s. They were made of earth and wood. Many people lived in castle in the past, and we would find their way of life very strange, but they were people just like us. Why not visit a castle and meet them?

This book is a little difficult for me to read. But you will understand what knights were like if you read this book. You will also want to go to castle if you read it. I think this book is worth reading. I'm not very interested in knights and castles, but if you are interested in them, this book is very good for you.
